Schedule Adjustment on Westpac Service
Dear Valued Customer,
Due to the continuing high demand for space on our Westpac service, we will be altering the voyage rotation of Sofrana Surville v274 in order to accommodate all cargo. The vessel will call New Zealand and New Caledonia as per usual, and proceed to Brisbane where she will call at DPW Terminal in order to load all cargo which has been moved coastally from other Australian ports to Brisbane to meet this service. The Sofrana Surville will then proceed to Lae where she will discharge cargo, and load any Lae to Australia shipments. Following the call in Lae, she will return to Brisbane to call at AAT in order to load Brisbane origin export cargo. Vessel will then proceed to Motukea (Port Moresby), Lae, Kimbe, Rabaul and Honiara. This change will mean a slightly later delivery date for some cargo than originally planned, but does allow us to deliver all cargo, and to continue to accept additional Brisbane export bookings.
The following adjustments are required for us to meet Australian & PNG Customs regulations:
* All cargo ex New Zealand and New Caledonia will remain as Sofrana Surville v274 NORTH, as will cargo from Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Fremantle and Tasmania that is due to connect to the Sofrana Surville in Brisbane.
* Cargo loaded in Lae (first call) will be via Sofrana Surville v274 SOUTH. Brisbane origin export cargo to all destinations will also load at AAT Brisbane on Sofrana Surville v274 SOUTH.
* Cargo loaded in Motukea, Lae (second call), Kimbe, Rabaul and Honiara will do so on Sofrana Surville v275 NORTH.
* Finally, the Eastbound Trans-Tasman leg which is usually part of the Southbound voyage will be carried on Sofrana Surville v276 SOUTH.
The above changes will be made internally with changes confirmed to you. Please find following the adjusted schedule for this voyage. Voyage references are based on load ports.
