PAD Line
Bad Weather Forecast – Operational Impact and Contingency Plan
Dear Valued Customer,
The passage of several storms from the Atlantic into European waters in recent and upcoming days, has caused disruptions across the port landscape in North Europe. High winds and a large well will see passages across the Bay of Biscay disrupted until Friday January 31st.
Vessels’ transit and port operations in main North Europe ports may be impacted causing delays and changes of rotations on all Europe-bounded services. On PAD service, vessels currently impacted are:
SB Rotation
– CMA CGM BLUE – 0RPI7S1MA: delayed 6 days because of bad weather in FRLEH. She will omit USNYC and USSAV to preserve schedule integrity and Panama Crossing slot.
– CAPE SKAGEN – 0RPI9S1MA: delayed 2 days due to bad weather in FRLEH. Schedule recovery plan to be confirmed after North Atlantic crossing.
NB Rotation
– NORDAMELIA – 0RPHKN1MA: the voyage to Northern Europe was delayed by 3 days due to an unscheduled stop in the Azores to avoid adverse weather conditions.
o Expected ETA RTM 02.02 (initial ETA 30.01)
We will keep monitoring the situation and inform you if further changes should arise.
Should you have further questions or concerns regarding the above, please contact your local CMA CGM sales representative.
