General Rate Increase (GRI)
United States and Canada to Pacific Islands
(San Francisco, CA)…The global as well as regional trade conditions continue to impact out operation. Strong demand for shipping capacity combined with ongoing port and terminal congestion in both Long Beach and Oakland continue to cause cost escalations which we cannot fully abosrb.
We will therefore have to increase our freight rates from the U.S. and Canada effective as of June 1, 2022 (receipt of cargo) to the Pacific Islands as follows:
• USD 300/20′ all equipment types
• USD 600/40′ all equipment types
This rate adjustment applies to all tariff and contact cargo (where applicable) to American Samoa, Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga and Fiji.
