Significant challenges continue to be faced by the global shipping industry. Swire Shipping is committed to maintaining the highest levels of service and maintaining our extensive global and direct services into Pacific Islands. A General Rate Increase (GRI) is required to provide reliability and long-term sustainability against the backdrop of the current industry challenges.
Ocean Freight Increase
20’ FCL: US$ 500
40’ FCL: US$ 1,000
Break-bulk/LCL: US$ 30.00 per revenue ton
As recognition that we are operating under a period of prolonged volatility, we are endeavouring, with a 60 day notice period, to provide our customers with an opportunity to plan and prepare for this General Rate Increase. Increases become appliable for any shipment with a Bill of Lading date of January 1st 2022 or later.
