General Rate Increase (GRI)
(San Francisco, CA)…The global as well as regional trade conditions continue to impact our operation. Strong demand for shipping capacity combined with ongoing port and terminal congestion in both Long Beach and Oakland continue to cause cost escalations which we
cannot fully absorb.
We will therefore have to increase our freight rates from the U.S. and Canada effective as of October 15, 2021 (receipt of cargo) to the Pacific Islands in the following amounts:
• USD 350/20’ all equipment types
• USD 700/40’ all equipment types
This rate adjustment applies to all tariff and contract cargo (where applicable) to American Samoa, Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga and Fiji.
