Special Equipment Surcharge (SES)
Dear Valued Customers,
Swire Shipping has conducted an operational review related to the provision of specialized (non standard) equipment and will be adjusting our Special Equipment Surcharge (SES) to better reflect the costs associated with maintaining this fleet.
Effective for any bill of lading on or after 1st August 2021 the applicable SES will be adjusted to USD400 per teu regardless of geography.
Equipment Type where SES will be applied:
• Open Top Containers
• Half Height Containers
• 20ft High Cube Containers
• Flat Racks
• Bolster (Platform)
