27th April 2021
Dear Valued Customers & Partners,
As an update to our notice on the 22nd April regarding the Fijian Government putting Lautoka and Nadi into a 14-day isolation, Suva City is now
also in lockdown for 14 days since Sunday 25th April. Checkpoints are stationed at both entry points into Suva discouraging unnecessary travel. For international shipping, the Ports of Lautoka and Suva remain open, trucks can move freely between the checkpoints provided passes are obtained, but we do expect some delays.
Our CRS container depot in Suva and trucking services are operational. We can release and deliver empty containers from this depot, and also collect them from the port to re-position to the depot in preparation for future export bookings.
Along with the depots, our agencies and warehouses in Suva and Lautoka will remain operational. Office-based employees are operating with alternating work teams to minimise risk.
We will continue to closely monitor this situation and provide updates as required. Thank you for your continued support.
Yours sincerely,
NPDL
